WEEK 2
Shtilyan, the lifesaver
In the beginning, the fact that Shtilyan was in Bulgaria was a bit frustrating. In the end, it turned out to be our solution to our problems. He, with a fresh mind, came up with an amazing concept inspired by Chaldni's technique. We then talked about it, and tried to implement this idea into our concept. We then decided to create an interactive installation with a hologram as well as sounds, that people can control with their hand movements.

Getting our concept clear was not an easy thing. We had to talk to a lot of professors, as well as Jacob - a super cool artist - and the owner of the skate shop in the city. We god a lot of inspiration, and we finally got our concept straight.
Week 4
In the forth week I continued working on the branding by creating a mood board. I wanted to capture the mood we would like our installation to be associated with and get one step further to achieving consistent branding.

Once I created the mood board, I started working on finding the color palette for our brand as well as the font and elements needed to connect the whole design.

After the color research, I decided on using yellow, blue and black. The combination between these colors capture the urban/skate vibe I am striving for and also connect to the sounds - cold and warm sounds. I continued working on the branding by finding out what typeface we should use.
What I decided on was an artsy font that captures the attention and more clean and simple font for the sub title and the body .

So in the end this was the brand book I came up for our installation.
The feedback I got from the teachers was that the design is not well conveyed and vague. Their advice was to try and translate what I had in mind better, so that other team members can understand and follow the design instructions better.
In the end of the week I started working on new brand book, that would translate the design in a better way.
