week 8

Throughout week 8, I mostly worked on Unity and Firebase. Mostly, I tried to work with Firebase Unity SDK. I followed the steps mentioned in firebase.com but there were some problems. There is much more documentation for iOS and android applications and not so many for web/desktop games. Therefore, I had some struggles when trying to establish a connection between Unity and Firebase.

I tried it many times and I created a few projects but I had some errors that I could not solve. Compiler errors which wouldn't let me play the scene and establish a connection with Firebase. I met with Yiwei, to ask for his advice but he didn't really know what was wrong. He said he would look into it and then we could talk again. He did so, and he sent me an email and asked me to follow the same steps as he did (it worked for him). I did so as well, even though I knew he followed the same process as I also did the first time. 

For some strange reason the compiler error disappeared but I still couldn't connect unity to firebase, it just wasn't working.  I won't give it up thought, because I really want to make it happen.

building

Apart from the technical parts, I have always helped with some parts of building the installation. This week, I went with Shtilyan to Praxis, Poco and Gamma, in order to look for wood and some other additions for out installation. I also helped with building and making the plexiglass/hologram as stable as possible. At the same time, I kept being active with instagram, mostly with stories, sharing our building process.
