This week was all about painting the installation, making the interaction work and finsishing the building part of the installation. On monday I helped paininting the top part of the installtion. First we tested if we wanted to sandpaper the installation, if we needed to use basecoat and if we wanted to use wallpaper. We decided not to use wallpaper because it didn't really added something. Painting the top part was fun to do. I offerd myself to sit inside the installation and paint. Well I had paint everywhere but that's fine. We needed to wait till the next day to see what it looks like dry. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On thuesday we decide we wanted to glue the hologram together. We first needed to make a plan how we wanted to do it because the angles needed to be right. I suggested that if we took the top part and the platform off the installation and place the hologram inside we could glue it together easily. Getting the hologram inside the top part was a big struggle but we made it work. I glued with secondglue one side of the hologram together. To be honest I'm not really good with glue so I almost glued myself to the installation, myself, the ground or the tube itself but after all I was fine haha. Now we needed to let it dry and wait if it's glued enough. I still didn't receive any money from concordia and overkill didn't answer so I sent them another email to check if everything was okay. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

On wednesday I was the shopping lady haha. I had to go home during the day so I got some more paint at action and some screws. Later this day I got screws again at Gamma. I think they are recognizing me ;) Well but this day we figured out the hologram wasn't glued properly at one side so we needed to glue it again. I'm the glue girl in the team so I glued the installtion back together while it was in the top part. And yes I almost glued my fingers together again for like five times but that's part of the job I guess. I alos got a top coating for the installation so I helped painting the top part over again. And the top coating looks really good so that's nice!
We discovered that we need some more money or we have to pay a lot ourselves, so on thursday I emaild some more companies to ask if they want to sponsor us. As a shopping lady I was send out again to get some screws at Gamma. After that I went back to the Gamma again with Shtilyan to ask if they can cut the thin wood and we needed to buy some more wood. Unfortunately they couldn't help us so we went to the saxion main building and asked a guy if het could cut our wood. He was really nice and helped us out. For the instagram I wanted to make a sound wave with the sound effects patrick made so we could post it on our instagram. I looked up a tutorial which showed me how I could use the effect in after effects. On friday morning I finished the sound wave effect and posted it on our instagram. I also follow a lot of artsy instagram accounts so we could gain in followers and I think it actually worked a little!. For the hologram Rania and Shtilyan bought black cornerish thingies so as the glue lady I of course helped glueing them on. Putting the hologram back in the top part of the installatio was a really big struggle. After struggeling for a while and almost breaking the installation we figured out that because of the black thingies the hologram was too big to fit. So luckily the glue didn't attatch that well so we could pull them off easily. Now the hologram fits perfectly again!
